Tuesday- Friday will be dedicated to Writer's Workshop. Bring your Writer's Journal to class each day. DI: Nouns packet due TUESDAY Seventh graders: Review questions 1-10 (page 124) due MONDAY. Grade 8: Today we reviewed some of the basic requirements of the research paper: Introduction, Body, Conclusion 3 sources minimum (not Wikipedia) Equivalent of 3-5 BODY pages typed using size 12 font (Times New Roman) and double spaced in Microsoft Word Proper citations & bibliography Spell checked Grammar checked (punctuation, plurals, capital letters, complete sentences) No use of “I” unless it is in a direct quote No use of contractions unless they are in a direct quote No use of slang Margins: L: 1”, R: 1/2”, Top: 1”, Bottom: 1” Next week we will begin using our Writer's Notebooks and return to Greek & Latin roots worksheets. Grade 7: Questions 1-10 on page 124 (Reviewing Main Ideas) due MONDAY.
