Reminder: World War II project due December 20 (NOT December 6)

Please see me if you would like to stay after. I am available almost any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Yearbook meets on Thursday, so it is not the best choice if you need my attention. I will need a note indicating how you plan to get home.

I am also available during lunch Wed-Friday and during study halls some days. (Please see me to arrange study hall time.)

Study Tips for Upcoming Test

Here are some ideas for how to study for the upcoming vocabulary test:

1. Flashcards- Make flashcards using index cards or notebook paper with your vocab words on the front and the definitions on the back. Quiz yourself on one side (you see the word and provide the definition) and then flip the deck over and quiz yourself the other way. A few times a day between now and the test will do wonders!

2. Review the sentences on your worksheet. Section B of the worksheets we've completed in the new unit will help you. Review the meaning of the words as they are used in context to be sure you understand them.

3. Write your own sentences. Using the sentences from section B as a guide, write your own sentences that correctly incorporate your vocabulary words.

Phew! I'm back after a few days out with a sick child. It's good to be back!

Greek & Latin roots test next week 11/9 or 11/10

WWII project check in has been moved (again!) to November 15. I will have project details available before then. The due date for the project will be moved as well- approximately two weeks later.

Report cards will be sent home on November 19. Grades close November 10. Any questions, please ask!
