Open House tonight! I'm looking forward to meeting many families! The format is new this year-- you will follow your child's schedule! Please visit specials area classes beginning at 6:30 and then join us in your child's homeroom at 6:55. We have a copy of your child's schedule to follow. Homework Language Arts- Greek & Latin Roots sheet: Aster/Astro A,B,C all (Don't forget to color! Write a complete paragraph, too! Several eighth graders are losing points for not putting in the full effort!) Social Studies- Please be sure to bring those magazines in. We're working on getting to know our textbook right now. No homework today.

Phew! I missed posting this on Friday, my apologies! There was no homework in either language arts or social studies. However, if you have not brought in your SIGNED welcome letter, please do that as soon as possible. Eighth graders- Don't forget your summer reading posters! I'll be displaying these for open house. Seventh graders- If you have any old magazines that you can bring in for projects, please do so.
